The Artist's Journal with Paul Puckett: Amelia Island, Florida

For 2019, we're pleased to be able to bring y'all a couple new and fun blog series every month!
From the beginning, Flood Tide Co.'s art has been made by hand and we're proud to still operate that same way. No outsourcing to internet graphic design companies. Only Paul and individuals we truly trust with our brand. We felt there was no better way to start this series than with an excerpt from the Artist's Journal.
Introducing The Artist's Journal. Soon to be a collection of interesting bits & pieces from Paul's art journal and past works he has created.
w/ James Ferguson and Ben Austin
"We put the Redfish back in the water and saw something else tailing through the grass, so we poled on over. It was my turn and so I casted away as we discovered it was another sheepshead, a good size one at that. He lunged towards the fly and ate, as if it was easy...he then got hooked as if it was even easy. We landed the fish and there it was, my first sheepshead caught on the fly rod.  As I did hook two Sheepshead that day, lottery tickets were bought along with some cold beer."
