Bubba Blue said it best, "shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautée it..." There's plenty of delicious ways to prepare shrimp, but, just like most things, they taste that much better when you've worked for it. Luckily, shrimp baiting is fun, pretty dang affordable and relatively easy to learn...so it doesn't even feel like work.
While shrimpin' is popular pretty much everywhere shrimp are found, shrimp baiting is a unique practice here in the South-Eastern Lowcountry every season.
